Nutty Coffee Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 c. chopped pecans
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1/4 c. soft margarine
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°.
  2. Grease and flour a tube pan.
  3. Mix together
  4. pecans, cinnamon and brown sugar.
  5. Combine margarine, sugar, eggs,
  6. sour
  7. cream
  8. and vanilla.
  9. Sift together and into liquid mixture,
  10. flour, soda, baking powder and salt.
  11. Pour 1/2 batter into
  12. pan
  13. and cover with most of nut mixture.
  14. Add rest of batter and top with nuts.
  15. Bake for 50 minutes.
