Nutty Monkey Bread is a sweet, cinnamon-spiced pull-apart treat with crunchy pecans, perfect for breakfast, brunch, or dessert gatherings with family and friends.

Ingredients

  • 4 cans buttermilk biscuits (10 biscuit size)
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 1/2 sticks butter
  • 1 heaping tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup crushed pecans

Instructions

  1. Melt butter and 1 cup sugar; set aside.
  2. Mix 1 cup sugar and cinnamon in a large bowl.
  3. Open 2 cans of biscuits; cut each biscuit into quarters.
  4. Toss the cut biscuits into the sugar and cinnamon mixture; coat well.
  5. Toss the coated biscuits into a well-greased tube pan. Pour half of the butter sugar mixture over the biscuits and sprinkle with chopped pecans.
  6. Repeat the process with the remaining 2 cans of biscuits, coating and layering in the pan.
  7. Bake for 45 minutes at 350°F.
  8. After removing from oven, invert the pan onto a large plate to serve.
