Nutty-Wheat Pancakes

Ingredients

  • 3/4 c. flour
  • 1/2 c. wheat germ
  • 1 Tbsp. firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 2/3 c. buttermilk
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine flour, wheat germ, sugar, baking soda and salt. Stir in buttermilk, egg, oil and vanilla.
  2. Drop 1/4 cup batter onto hot skillet.
  3. Make 4-inch pancake.
  4. Makes 4 servings.
