Ingredients

  • 4 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 pkg. yeast
  • 1 1/2 c. warm water
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 c. oatmeal
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. dry milk
  • 5 Tbsp. melted butter

Instructions

  1. Dissolve sugar and yeast in warm water.
  2. Add beaten eggs and dry ingredients including flour, oatmeal, and salt.
  3. Mix until a smooth batter forms.
  4. Spread the batter in a greased pan and brush with melted butter.
  5. Sprinkle with a little dry oatmeal on top.
  6. Let the dough rise for 1 1/2 hours.
  7. Bake at 350°F for 25 minutes until brown and crisp.
