Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 (29 oz.) can pumpkin
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cloves
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon ginger

Instructions

  1. Mix together melted butter, flour, and sugar and pat into a 9 x 13-inch pan.
  2. Bake at 425°F for 10 to 15 minutes.
  3. Beat together eggs, pumpkin, sugar, salt, cloves, cinnamon, and ginger.
  4. Pour the pumpkin mixture into the baked crust.
  5. Bake at 400°F for 15 minutes.
  6. Reduce temperature to 325°F and bake for an additional 45 to 50 minutes.
