Ingredients

  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 1 c. butter or margarine
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp. soda in 1/4 c. water
  • 3 c. oatmeal
  • 3 c. flour

Instructions

  1. Cream sugar and shortening.
  2. Add eggs and soda water.
  3. Blend. Add oatmeal and flour.
  4. Roll and cut 2 circles for each cookie. Bake at 350° for 12 to 15 minutes.
