Ingredients

  • 3 cups sliced apples
  • 1 1/2 cups soft bread crumbs
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 3/4 cup water

Instructions

  1. Mix sliced apples, bread crumbs, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a bowl.
  2. Turn the mixture into a buttered 1 1/2 to 2-quart baking dish.
  3. Pour melted butter and water over the top of the mixture.
