Ingredients

  • 2 cups milk
  • 4 teaspoons butter
  • 1 cup cornmeal
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 2 eggs

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Put butter into a baking dish and place in the oven to get hot.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine milk, cornmeal, salt, and sugar.
  4. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs.
  5. Gradually add the eggs to the cornmeal mixture, stirring well.
  6. Remove the hot dish from the oven and pour the batter into it.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes or until golden and set.
