Ingredients

  • 4 slices buttered toast
  • 1/3 cup seedless raisins
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup Pet milk
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 4 teaspoons sugar

Instructions

  1. Grease a 1 1/2-quart baking dish.
  2. Place toast, cut into quarters, in the dish.
  3. Sprinkle raisins over the top.
  4. Combine eggs, sugar, salt, milk, boiling water, and vanilla.
  5. Pour the mixture over the toast.
  6. Let stand for 10 minutes.
  7. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.
  8. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
