Instructions
- Dissolve the dry yeast in lukewarm water.
- Cream together margarine, sugar, and egg.
- Add the yeast mixture and water to the creamed mixture.
- Gradually mix in the self-rising flour one cup at a time to form a spongy batter.
- Transfer the dough to an airtight container and refrigerate until ready to use, up to 5 days.
- Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C).
- Spoon heaping tablespoonfuls of dough into greased muffin tins.
- Bake for 10 to 15 minutes until golden brown.
