Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 1 egg
  • 10 oz. jar raspberry preserves

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour, 1 cup sugar, and 1 cup chopped pecans.
  3. Add 1 cup softened butter or margarine and 1 egg to the dry ingredients.
  4. Mix until crumbly and well combined.
  5. Press two-thirds of the mixture into the bottom of a greased 9x13-inch baking pan.
  6. Spread the raspberry preserves evenly over the crust.
  7. Sprinkle the remaining crumb mixture over the preserves.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Allow to cool before cutting into squares.
