Ingredients

  • 1 stick butter
  • 5 oz. English Cheddar cheese
  • 1 1/4 cups flour
  • dash of salt
  • 48 medium olives, drained and dried

Instructions

  1. Cut the butter and cheese into the flour until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  2. Add a dash of salt and mix well.
  3. Form the mixture into small balls.
  4. Wrap each ball around an olive, sealing it well.
  5. Place the formed tidbits on a baking sheet and refrigerate overnight.
  6. Bake at 400°F for about 15 minutes or until golden brown.
