Orange Glazed Pork Roast

Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 2/3 cup orange juice
  • 1 tsp. instant chicken bouillon
  • 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 lb. pork sirloin roast (bone-in)
  • 1/2 tsp. thyme leaves
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 small acorn squash, halved
  • 1 large apple, cored and cut into eighths

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Place the pork roast inside a large oven bag.
  3. In a bowl, mix orange juice, flour, instant chicken bouillon, ground cinnamon, and thyme leaves.
  4. Pour the mixture over the pork in the oven bag.
  5. Add the halved acorn squash and apple eighths around the roast in the bag.
  6. Seal the oven bag according to package instructions.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 2 hours, or until the pork reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
  8. Remove from oven and let rest for 10 minutes.
  9. Slice the pork and serve with the roasted squash and apples, spooning some of the glaze over the top.
