Ingredients

  • 2 c. sugar
  • 4 Tbsp. corn syrup
  • 3/4 c. Pet milk
  • juice of 1 orange
  • 1 tsp. orange peel, grated
  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. lightly toasted pecans

Instructions

  1. Bring sugar, corn syrup, and Pet milk to a boil.
  2. Add orange juice and cook to 234°F on a candy thermometer.
  3. Add orange peel and cook to 250°F. Cool.
  4. Add butter, vanilla, and pecans.
  5. Beat well.
  6. Drop by teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet.
  7. Store in an airtight container.
