Ingredients

  • 1 pkg yellow cake mix
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup soft butter or margarine
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 1/4 cups orange slices

Instructions

  1. Combine half of the cake mix, water, eggs, butter, and brown sugar in a mixing bowl.
  2. Mix until well blended.
  3. Stir in the remaining cake mix until incorporated.
  4. Fold in the chopped orange slices.
  5. Spread the batter evenly in a greased and floured jelly roll pan.
  6. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20 to 25 minutes until golden.
  7. Allow to cool completely.
  8. Cut into bars and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
