Ingredients

  • 1 c. margarine
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 box (8 oz.) chopped dates
  • 1 large bag orange slice candy, diced
  • 1 c. chopped walnuts
  • 1 c. coconut
  • 3/4 c. buttermilk
  • 1 Tbsp. soda (dissolved)
  • 3 1/2 c. self-rising flour
  • 1 c. chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Combine ingredients.
  2. Pour into 2 loaf pans, greased.
  3. Bake at 250° for 1 1/2 hours.
