- Crush the Oreo cookies and mix with melted margarine.
- Press the mixture into a 9 x 13-inch pan and freeze.
- Soften the coffee ice cream and spread it over the crust, then freeze again.
- Combine sugar, evaporated milk, vanilla, chopped semi-sweet chocolate, and margarine in a saucepan.
- Bring to a boil and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat and allow the mixture to cool.
- Pour the chocolate mixture over the ice cream layer and re-freeze.
- Mix Cool Whip with chopped nuts and spread over the chocolate layer. Keep frozen until ready to serve.
