Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. chicken breasts or breast quarters
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce or A.1. sauce for poultry
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Sprinkle chicken with salt and pepper. Place chicken on a rack in a foil-lined roasting pan.
  3. Bake for 15 minutes.
  4. Combine ketchup, hoisin sauce, soy sauce, and brown sugar in a bowl.
  5. Mix well and brush generously over the chicken.
  6. Bake for an additional 30 minutes, brushing with sauce occasionally.
