Ingredients

  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 4 eggs
  • 3/4 cup dark syrup
  • 3/4 cup light syrup
  • 3 cups chopped nuts
  • 2 deep dish unbaked pie shells

Instructions

  1. Cream butter, sugar, and salt together.
  2. Add eggs one at a time and beat well after each addition.
  3. Stir in dark syrup, light syrup, and chopped nuts.
  4. Mix until all ingredients are well combined.
  5. Pour the filling into two deep-dish unbaked pie shells.
  6. Bake at 300°F (150°C) for 1 hour and 15 minutes until set and golden.
