Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 egg whites
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 10 oz frozen strawberries
  • 2 Tbsp ReaLemon juice
  • 1 cup whipped cream

Instructions

  1. Mix the flour, brown sugar, chopped nuts, and melted butter and spread evenly in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
  2. Bake for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally during baking.
  3. Remove half of the mixture for the topping and set aside.
  4. Spread the remaining baked mixture in the bottom of the pan.
  5. In a blender or food processor, combine the partially thawed strawberries, ReaLemon juice, and sugar until smooth.
  6. Fold in the whipped cream gently into the strawberry mixture.
  7. Spread the strawberry mixture over the baked crust in the pan.
  8. Sprinkle the reserved baked mixture on top of the strawberry layer.
