Ingredients

  • 5 to 6 lb boneless brisket
  • onion salt
  • garlic salt
  • celery salt
  • 3 oz liquid smoke
  • salt
  • pepper
  • Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. Sprinkle the brisket with onion salt, garlic salt, and celery salt. Marinate overnight in liquid smoke.
  2. In the morning, sprinkle the meat with salt and pepper to taste, and add Worcestershire sauce.
  3. Wrap the brisket in heavy foil and bake in a preheated oven at 275°F (135°C) for about 5 hours or until the meat is tender.
  4. Baste the brisket with barbecue sauce and bake a little longer to heat through.
  5. Let the brisket cool slightly, then slice and serve.
  6. Reheat if necessary before serving.
