Oven Caramel Corn is a delightful treat that combines the rich flavors of brown sugar and butter with the light crunch of popped corn. Perfect for parties or movie nights, this sweet and savory snack is sure to please both kids and adults alike.

Ingredients

  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 1 c. butter or margarine
  • 1/2 c. corn syrup
  • 6 qt. popped corn
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. soda

Instructions

  1. Boil brown sugar, butter, corn syrup, and salt for 5 minutes. Remove from heat; add soda and vanilla and stir over popped corn.
  2. Mix well; spread on cookie sheet(s). Place in oven at 200° for 1 to 1 1/2 hours, stirring every 20 to 30 minutes.
  3. Remove and let cool. Break apart.
