Ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • salt
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 4 apples, cut into 1/4-inch wedges
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 2 (9-in.) pie pans, buttered

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Butter two 9-inch pie pans.
  2. Arrange apple wedges in the bottom of the prepared pie pans.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine beaten eggs, milk, salt, flour, sugar, and cinnamon to make the batter.
  4. Pour the batter evenly over the apples in each pie pan.
  5. Bake for 30 to 40 minutes until puffed and golden.
  6. Serve immediately.
