Oven Stuffed Cabbage

Ingredients

  • 1 (2 lb.) head cabbage
  • 1 c. cooked rice
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 lb. ground pork
  • 4 strips bacon
  • 1 large onion, chop fine
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 can tomato sauce
  • 4 cans water

Instructions

  1. Cut core out of cabbage.
  2. Boil cabbage and keep removing outer leaves as they get a little soft.
  3. Save remaining small pieces of cabbage.
  4. Fry bacon and save drippings.
