Ingredients

  • 1 medium head lettuce, shredded
  • 1/2 cup sliced green onions
  • 1 cup thinly sliced celery
  • 1 can water chestnuts, drained and sliced
  • 1 (10 oz.) package frozen peas, broken apart
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Place shredded lettuce in a large 4-quart bowl.
  2. Top with sliced green onions, sliced celery, and sliced water chestnuts.
  3. Sprinkle frozen peas over the salad.
  4. Spread mayonnaise evenly over the top.
  5. Sprinkle sugar, grated Parmesan cheese, seasoned salt, and garlic powder over the salad.
  6. Cover and chill in the refrigerator overnight or for 24 hours.
  7. Before serving, garnish with hard-boiled eggs, crisp bacon, or tomato wedges. Optionally, sprinkle with Salad Supreme seasoning.
