Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup Milnot
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla
  • 1 package Knox unflavored gelatin
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 4 egg yolks

Instructions

  1. Mix sugar, brown sugar, milk, Milnot, salt, vanilla, gelatin in water, egg yolks, and cornstarch in a saucepan.
  2. Cook over medium heat until smooth and thick, stirring constantly.
  3. Cool the mixture overnight or for several hours.
  4. Whip prepared Dream Whip until stiff peaks form.
  5. Fold whipped Dream Whip into the cooled cooked mixture until smooth.
  6. Pour the filling into baked pie shells.
  7. Decorate the tops with chocolate curls or nuts before serving.
