Ingredients

  • 2 lb. ground round
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • dash of pepper
  • 1 cup Pace medium picante sauce
  • 1 cup cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic
  • Cheddar cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Mix ground round, chopped onion, salt, pepper, picante sauce, cracker crumbs, mayonnaise, and garlic until well combined to form a loaf mixture.
  2. Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a baking dish.
  3. Bake in a 350°F oven for 1 hour.
  4. Optional: sprinkle cheddar cheese on top during the last 5 minutes of baking.
  5. Serve the meatloaf with the remaining picante sauce.
