Ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 c. milk
  • 3/4 c. flour
  • 1/4 lb. margarine
  • 1/2 lb. bacon

Instructions

  1. Chop bacon and oven fry it until crispy; pour off excess grease.
  2. Melt margarine in a 9 x 13-inch pan in the oven.
  3. Tip the pan to coat the sides and bottom with margarine.
  4. Beat eggs until fluffy; add milk, flour, sugar, and salt.
  5. Pour the batter over the cooked bacon in the pan.
  6. Bake at 400°F for 20 minutes until puffed and golden.
  7. Serve with syrup or warmed pie filling.
