Pantry Coleslaw
A creamy, tangy coleslaw dressing with a hint of sweetness and spice, perfect for complementing sandwiches, barbecues, or as a refreshing side dish.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 c. plus 2 Tbsp. mayonnaise ⓘ
- 6 Tbsp. plus 1 tsp. sugar ⓘ
- 3 Tbsp. plus 1/2 tsp. wine vinegar ⓘ
- 3/4 c. plus 1 Tbsp. oil ⓘ
- 1/8 tsp. garlic powder ⓘ
- 1/8 tsp. onion powder ⓘ
- 1/8 tsp. mustard powder ⓘ
- 1/8 tsp. celery powder ⓘ
- dash of black pepper ⓘ
- 1 Tbsp. plus 2 tsp. lemon juice ⓘ
- 3/4 c. plus 1 Tbsp. half and half
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt ⓘ
Instructions
- Blend together mayonnaise, sugar, vinegar, and oil.
- Add spice powders, pepper, lemon juice, half and half, and salt.
- Stir until smooth.
- Pour over coleslaw in a large bowl and toss until cabbage is well coated.
- Refrigerate before serving.
