Ingredients

  • 6 cans peeled tomatoes
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 3 to 6 pickled jalapeno peppers
  • 2 Tbsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Place onion, jalapeno peppers, and the juice from 3 cans of tomatoes into a blender and liquify.
  2. Add whole tomatoes into the blender and run on low speed for a few seconds, leaving the tomatoes slightly chunky.
  3. Pour the mixture into a large mixing bowl.
  4. Blend the remaining tomatoes in the same manner and add to the mixture.
  5. Add salt and garlic powder and stir well. Adjust salt, garlic, and pepper to taste.
  6. Refrigerate in a closed container.
