  3. Stir the sugar and Sure-Jell mixture into the fruit in the pot.
  4. Bring the mixture to a full rolling boil, stirring constantly.
  5. Quickly add the remaining sugar to the fruit mixture.
  6. Bring the mixture back to a full rolling boil.
  7. Boil for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
  8. Remove from heat.
  9. Fill sterilized jars with the hot jam.
  10. Quickly cover the jars and seal them.
  11. Invert the jars for 5 minutes to ensure a proper seal.
