Ingredients

  • 3 1/2 lb. chicken
  • 2 Tbsp. melted margarine
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • barbecue sauce

Instructions

  1. Boil the chicken for about 15 to 20 minutes.
  2. Remove the chicken from water and set aside.
  3. Mix melted margarine with salt, paprika, and minced garlic to make a seasoned butter mixture.
  4. Brush about half of the mixture onto the boiled chicken halves.
  5. Place the chicken on the grill.
  6. Grill the chicken, turning once during cooking.
  7. Keep basting the chicken with the remaining mixture as it cooks.
  8. When the chicken is nearly done, brush barbecue sauce onto it.
