Ingredients

  • 2 lb. boneless chicken breast halves, skinned
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 1/4 c. skim milk
  • 1/2 c. fine, dry breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp. dried whole basil
  • 1/2 tsp. dried whole thyme
  • 1/8 tsp. onion powder
  • 1/8 tsp. freshly ground pepper

Instructions

  1. Trim excess fat from chicken breasts.
  2. Cut chicken into 4 x 1-inch strips.
  3. Combine egg and skim milk, stirring well.
  4. Combine breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, basil, thyme, onion powder, and pepper; stir well.
  5. Dip chicken strips in egg mixture; dredge in breadcrumb mixture.
