Delicious cheesy French bread loaf with a crispy, golden crust and rich Parmesan flavor, perfect for kids and family gatherings alike.

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf French bread (long)
  • margarine, softened
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Cut the French bread in half lengthwise and place cut side up on a baking sheet.
  2. Spread softened margarine on the cut sides of the bread.
  3. Bake at 350°F until the margarine melts, about 10 minutes.
  4. In a bowl, mix mayonnaise and grated Parmesan cheese.
  5. Carefully spread the mayonnaise-cheese mixture on the hot bread.
  6. Bake until lightly browned, about 5 minutes.
