Parmesan Steak

- Trim any excess fat from the steak; slash the remaining fat edge to prevent curling.
- Place the steak in a large shallow dish.
- Pour Italian salad dressing over the steak.
- Let stand at room temperature for 2 to 3 hours.
- Preheat the broiler.
- Place the steak on a rack in a broiler pan.
- Brush the dressing from the dish onto the top of the steak.
- Broil 8 inches from the heat for 15 minutes.
- Turn the steak and broil for an additional 10 minutes.
- Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top of the steak.
- Broil for 5 minutes or until the steak is cooked to your desired doneness.
- Remove from the broiler and place on a cutting board.
- Carve into 1/4-inch thick slices and serve.
