Juicy, flavorful Parmesan-crusted steak with Italian dressing, perfect for a special dinner or weekend treat, offering rich flavors and tender, perfectly cooked meat.

Ingredients

  • 1 beef sirloin steak (about 4 lb.)
  • 1/3 cup bottled Italian salad dressing
  • 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Trim any excess fat from the steak; slash the remaining fat edge to prevent curling.
  2. Place the steak in a large shallow dish.
  3. Pour Italian salad dressing over the steak.
  4. Let stand at room temperature for 2 to 3 hours.
  5. Preheat the broiler.
  6. Place the steak on a rack in a broiler pan.
  7. Brush the dressing from the dish onto the top of the steak.
  8. Broil 8 inches from the heat for 15 minutes.
  9. Turn the steak and broil for an additional 10 minutes.
  10. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top of the steak.
  11. Broil for 5 minutes or until the steak is cooked to your desired doneness.
  12. Remove from the broiler and place on a cutting board.
  13. Carve into 1/4-inch thick slices and serve.
