Ingredients

  • 1 loaf small diameter French bread, sliced about 1-inch thick
  • olive oil
  • garlic, peeled and cut in two
  • grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Toast the bread slices on both sides until crisp, about 7 to 8 minutes.
  3. Rub the toasted bread with peeled garlic halves.
  4. Brush the bread with olive oil.
  5. Sprinkle a thin layer of grated Parmesan cheese over the bread.
  6. Return the bread to the oven and toast for another 7 to 8 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
  7. Serve immediately.
