Ingredients

  • 2 large cloves garlic
  • 2 c. tightly packed stemmed Italian parsley
  • 1/2 oz. fresh basil
  • 3 oz. grated Parmesan, preferably imported
  • 1 c. vegetable oil
  • 1/2 c. pine nuts
  • 1 tsp. salt

Instructions

  1. Chop the garlic in a food processor.
  2. While the processor is running, add the fresh Parmesan cheese, Italian parsley, pine nuts, fresh basil, salt, and vegetable oil.
  3. When the mixture is soft and pasty, spoon the sauce over freshly cooked hot spaghetti and mix thoroughly.
  4. Add grated Parmesan as a topping.
