Stuffed Shells Florentine features jumbo pasta shells filled with a creamy ricotta and spinach mixture, baked in a rich marinara sauce topped with melted mozzarella. Ingredients

  • 29 oz. marinara sauce
  • 10 oz. chopped spinach
  • 2 lb. Ricotta cheese
  • 1 pkg. Mozzarella cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
  • 12 oz. jumbo shells

Instructions

  1. Cook the jumbo shells according to the package directions.
  2. Pour the marinara sauce into a saucepan and heat.
  3. Spoon 1 cup of marinara sauce into the bottom of a large roasting pan or 1/2 cup into each of two 2-quart baking pans.
  4. Reserve the remaining sauce and keep warm.
  5. Fill each cooked shell with the ricotta and spinach mixture.
  6. Arrange the stuffed shells in the prepared pans on top of the sauce.
  7. Pour the remaining marinara sauce over the shells.
  8. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese and grated Parmesan over the top.
  9. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for about 30 minutes or until bubbly and cheese is golden.
