Ingredients

  • 12 extra large black olives
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 3/4 cup dried tomatoes
  • 16 oz sour cream
  • 1 pint heavy cream
  • basil
  • 1/2 cup white wine
  • 1 onion
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1 pound pencil point pasta
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Slice the black olives into rings.
  2. Sauté the olives with sliced garlic and diced onion in olive oil until golden.
  3. Add white wine and chopped dried tomatoes to the pan.
  4. Let simmer slowly for 10 minutes.
  5. Add sour cream and heavy cream, season with salt, pepper, and basil, then simmer for another 10 minutes.
  6. Stir in grated Romano cheese until melted and well combined.
  7. Pour the sauce over cooked pasta immediately and serve.
