Ingredients

  • 1 lb. sugar
  • 1 lb. butter
  • 9 eggs
  • 1 1/4 cups cornstarch
  • 1 1/4 cups flour
  • 2 tsp. baking powder

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, beat butter until fluffy.
  2. Gradually beat in sugar until light, then add eggs one at a time.
  3. Combine cornstarch, flour, and baking powder; add to mixture and blend well.
  4. Spoon the batter into small muffin tins.
  5. Bake in a preheated oven at 325°F for 20 to 30 minutes or until golden brown.
  6. Allow to cool and store in sealed containers.
