Ingredients

  • 4 egg whites
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon corn flour

Instructions

  1. Beat egg whites and a pinch of salt until very stiff.
  2. Mix sugar and cornstarch and gradually add to egg whites while beating.
  3. Gently fold in vinegar and vanilla.
  4. Beat to blend.
  5. Pile the meringue mixture on a baking sheet.
  6. Spread around, making a wall around the edges to form a shell.
