Ingredients

  • 1/2 stick margarine
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 cups sweetened peaches
  • 1/2 cup self-rising flour

Instructions

  1. Remove the seeds from the peaches.
  2. Pour sugar into a bowl and warm the margarine in the microwave.
  3. Take the melted margarine out of the microwave.
  4. In a bowl, combine the melted margarine, milk, self-rising flour, and some water to make the batter.
  5. Stir the mixture well and pour it into a prepared pan.
  6. Let the batter set for a short while.
  7. Place the peaches in a pot on the stove and bring to a boil.
  8. Add the cooked peaches to the batter in the pan and place it in the oven.
  9. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for about 60 minutes until golden and bubbly.
