Peach Trifle

- Combine pudding mix and milk in a saucepan; bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat and let cool. Fold in half of the thawed whipped topping.
- Sprinkle sugar over peaches; toss and set aside.
- Place half of the cake cubes in the bottom of a 16-cup trifle bowl and drizzle with half of the orange juice.
- Arrange half of the peaches over the cake layer and top with half of the pudding mixture.
- Repeat the layers: add the remaining cake cubes, drizzle with remaining orange juice, add the remaining peaches, and top with the remaining pudding mixture.
- Spread the remaining whipped topping on top of the assembled trifle.
- Cover with plastic wrap and chill for at least 2 hours before serving.
