Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 3 medium peaches, peeled and sliced, slightly sugared
  • 2/3 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
  • vanilla ice cream

Instructions

  1. Combine dry ingredients in a medium bowl.
  2. Combine milk and melted butter in a separate container.
  3. Pour the milk and butter mixture into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  4. Pour the batter into a greased 12 x 8 x 2-inch glass baking dish.
  5. Spread the sliced peaches evenly on top of the batter.
  6. Sprinkle the blueberries over the peaches.
  7. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 50 minutes until the batter rises through the fruit and the top is golden.
  8. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
