Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups peanut butter
  • 1 1/2 boxes powdered sugar
  • 1/2 pound butter
  • 12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 stick paraffin

Instructions

  1. Mix peanut butter, powdered sugar, and melted butter together, then chill the mixture.
  2. Roll the chilled mixture into small round balls about 1 1/2 inches in diameter.
  3. Melt paraffin in a saucepan over low to medium/low heat.
  4. Add chocolate chips to the melted paraffin and stir until smooth and melted.
  5. Insert a toothpick into each peanut butter ball and dip into the melted chocolate mixture.
  6. Leave a small area around the toothpick undipped so the ball looks like a buckeye.
  7. Place the dipped balls on waxed paper to set.
  8. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
