Creamy peanut butter fudge with walnuts offers a rich, sweet, and nutty flavor, perfect for sharing at gatherings or satisfying a quick dessert craving.

Ingredients

  • 18 oz. jar creamy peanut butter
  • 1 lb. oleo
  • 2 lb. powdered sugar
  • 1/3 cup light Karo syrup
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cups crushed walnuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Melt oleo over medium heat.
  2. Add peanut butter and stir until melted.
  3. Add powdered sugar, syrup, nuts, and vanilla.
  4. Mix well.
  5. Spread into a greased 9 x 13-inch pan lined with aluminum foil, with foil sticking up about 1 inch above the sides.
  6. Allow to cool and set.
  7. Pull up on aluminum foil to remove from pan.
  8. Remove foil from candy and cut into pieces with a sharp knife or pizza cutter.
