Ingredients

  • 1 qt. ground pears
  • 1 1/4 lb. onions, ground
  • 2 large sweet peppers (red and green)
  • 1 1/4 hot peppers
  • 1 pt. white vinegar
  • salt to taste
  • 3/4 tsp. white mustard
  • 1 1/2 tsp. allspice
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. turmeric
  • 1/2 tsp. cloves
  • 1 cup sugar

Instructions

  1. Bring the mixture to a good boil.
  2. Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
  3. Pack the hot relish into sterilized jars.
