- Grease a 9 x 5-inch loaf pan.
- Unroll the crescent rolls and lay them on wax paper.
- Spread each piece with softened butter; set aside.
- Mix sugar, cinnamon, and chopped nuts together.
- Sprinkle this mixture on each piece of dough.
- Roll each piece of dough starting at the long end.
- Place 8 rolls in the bottom of the loaf pan, then add the remaining 8 rolls on top.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30 to 35 minutes.
- Remove from the pan while hot.
- Top the loaf with broken nuts.
- Drizzle topping onto the loaf before serving.
