Pecan Puffets *

Ingredients

  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 c. brown sugar, packed
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 c. self-rising flour
  • 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
  • 1 c. (fine) chopped nuts

Instructions

  1. Cream butter and sugar.
  2. Add egg and vanilla.
  3. Sift flour and cream of tartar together.
  4. Add 1/4 cup at a time to creamed mixture.
  5. Add nuts.
  6. Shape into one large roll or two small ones. Wrap in aluminum foil and bake on ungreased baking sheets at 375° for 8 to 10 minutes.
