Ingredients

  • 2 (3 lb.) cut fryers
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1/2 package herb stuffing
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup

Instructions

  1. Place the cut fryer chicken pieces in a 9 x 13-inch shallow baking pan and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  2. Spread the herb stuffing evenly over the chicken pieces.
  3. Sprinkle additional seasoning or herbs as desired over the stuffing.
  4. Pour the can of cream of mushroom soup over the entire chicken and stuffing mixture.
  5. Place a small piece of margarine or butter on each piece of chicken.
  6. Bake in a preheated oven at 325°F (163°C) for 1 1/2 hours or until the chicken is cooked through.
